What this hash proves, and what it does not
Each pick below is stored with the SHA-256 hash of the pick before it. Change one published price, one probability or one timestamp, and that row's hash changes — which changes every hash after it, all the way to the number above. We publish that number daily, so a quiet edit to a losing pick would have to disagree with a figure that is already out in the world.
What it does not prove: that we published every pick we made. A chain shows nothing was altered after the fact; it cannot show that nothing was left out of it in the first place. Nobody can prove that from the outside — which is exactly why this site publishes every pick it makes, wins and losses and open positions alike, rather than asking to be judged on the ones it chose to show you.
A pick can only be written down before the game starts, and no row is ever edited or deleted. A correction is a new row; the old one stays where it is.
Nothing published yet
No model publishes to this record until it has beaten the closing line out of sample. An empty ledger is the honest state of a model that has not earned one, and it will stay empty until that changes.
